Have you wanted to visit the island of Oahu but didn’t like the idea of the city vibe of Waikiki or were worried about the beaches being too crowded? Then Aulani is the perfect answer! You can still experience everything this gorgeous island has to offer but enjoy a peaceful area of the island with a gorgeous beach area, with lounge chairs provided, wonderful lazy river pool as well as multiple other fabulous pools and areas to relax! We absolutely LOVED this area of the island, not only did you have the dining options available at the resort, but a short walk across the street gained you access to multiple other restaurants and stores. It was also still close to other sites that you may want to visit on the island, for us, the perfect location!

What haven’t I mentioned yet? Aulani is a Disney resort, so on top of all the amazing resort offerings, you can also meet some of your favorite Disney characters, and even have a character breakfast with several of them! I loved that while this was available, it wasn’t the main focus of the resort. Yes, you have your hidden Mickey’s and fun touches, but so much attention is about making it an authentic Hawaii experience. All the touches around the resort like the fun menehune characters that are little mischievous statues you can find throughout the resort (there is a fun scavenger hunt you can tackle!)
