What Else Do You Need to Know?

Q: Who can attend Pharm@Sea?

Pharm@Sea is open to all pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy students! Guests such as spouses, family, and friends are also welcome to attend. 


Q: What will be needed to complete my reservation?

To secure your cabin for the inaugural Pharm@Sea cruise, a $200 per person deposit is required. Please have a credit card ready for reservation. You'll also need to provide your full name as it appears on your passport or birth certificate, address, and birthdate.

Q: What is included in the cost?

All access to the Pharm@Sea conference including special entertainment, CE courses, group parties, meet-ups, Internet for one guest per stateroom, and so much more is included with your registration. All standard Royal Caribbean entertainment, dining and activities are also included.


Q: Are there any additional fees or taxes I should be aware of?

Cruise pricing is based on double occupancy and includes cruise fare, port charges, taxes and pre-paid gratuities. Includes all standard Royal Caribbean entertainment, dining and activities.

 

There may be additional charges for optional activities, specialty dining, beverages, shore excursions, spa services, and other onboard purchases.


You will need to provide your own transportation to and from cruise port.  You will have the option to book a pre-cruise hotel for an additional cost when booking your Pharm@Sea cruise.

  • July 24, 2024: Coco Cay

  • July 25, 2024: At Sea

Q: What types of activities and entertainment are available for conference attendees when not in sessions?

From sun-soaked poolside lounging to adrenaline-amping attractions, takes sea days to thrilling new levels with unforgettable vacation adventures. Like a zip line ride ten decks above the Boardwalk. A Rock Climbing Wall that offers stunning views of glittering seas and stunning shores. Buckets of fun for kids at the interactive H2O Zone℠ Water Park. And cruise nightlife that keeps the adventure going long after dark.


Q: Do I need a passport, visa and/or other forms of ID?

All US citizens must have either a valid passport good for 6 months beyond the return date or a certified copy of a US birth certificate and a government issue photo ID. Non-US Citizens will require a passport valid at least 6 months after your cruise ends and the necessary visa for entry into the United States 


Failure to provide the necessary identification may result in being denied boarding. No refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper documentation.

Q: What does "double occupancy" mean?

Prices are per person, with a minimum of two people sharing a stateroom. If you choose to have your own stateroom or suite, you will have to pay the full cost of the stateroom (the price of two guests).


NOTE: You may reserve a stateroom by yourself and then add roommate(s) up to 60 days before sailing. So bring a friend, loved one, or co-worker!


Q: Can I book a stateroom for myself?

If you would like to book a room for yourself you may do so, however you will be responsible for paying for two attendees (double occupancy). If you book a room for yourself, you may add an additional occupant at any time up to 60 days before sailing.


Q: Can I bring a significant other/friend? What about kids?

Yes to all of them! We could not do this job without the support of our family and friends. All are welcome and only those attending the conference will pay the conference fee.


Q: Will Internet access be available on the ship?

VOOM Wireless Internet Access (Wi-Fi) will be available to everyone with Pharm@Sea and will be active on CoCoCay as well as the ship. One login per cabin will be provided by Pharm@Sea. Any additional logins can be purchased from Royal Caribbean. 


 Log on to the to the network "royal-wifi" using your device, open your browser and follow instructions to log on.


Q: Are guests required to be vaccinated?

All guests must ensure that they are medically and physically fit for travel. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) provide guidelines as to which vaccinations are required in each country.

Q: How do I arrange for transportation to and from the ship?

Getting to and from the cruise ship will be the responsibility of the attendees.  However, our hotel partner is offering a discount shuttle to the cruise port (along with a great discount for your pre-cruise hotel stay)!


Q: How far in advance should I book?

The sooner the better as we only have a select number of cabins available for Pharm@Sea and cabins are assigned on a first come first serve basis (based on the cabin you choose on your reservation). Once the group sells out we are not guarantied to be have more available to us and if we do the pricing is subject to prevailing rates.

Q: What are the cancellation/refund policies?

Due to the nature of this conference, we do not accept refunds or credit requests. All funds paid are non-refundable.


If one or more persons cancel, the rate(s) for remaining occupants may increase. Should this booking be canceled after initial payment, cancellation fees may apply. In addition you are subject to cruise line cancellation fees. All taxes and government fees contained herein are subject to change at any time. The cruise line may cancel your cruise should final payment not be received by due date. You may protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances for covered reasons when you purchase our Travel Protection.


It may be possible to transfer your registration to another guest (limitations and transfer fees apply).
