Sail from Seward southbound to Vancouver
The port of Skagway is a popular stop for cruise ships, and the tourist trade is a big part of the business of Skagway.
Skagway is home to the White Pass and Yukon Railroad, the “Scenic Railway of the World.” It is one of Alaska's most popular visitor attractions and should not be missed. This narrow-gauge railroad is more than a train, it is a ride through history and a part of the area's mining past. It is now in operation purely for the tourist trade and runs throughout the summer months.
Juneau features more hiking trails than roads, making it the perfect place for adventurers and nature-lovers. While the city of Juneau boasts a historic and bustling downtown life, nearly 2,000 feet above it you’ll find 1,500 square miles of pure glistening glacier, known as the Juneau Icefield. A favorite highlight for newcomers from around the world, the magnificent glacier begs to be seen – and even landed on – by helicopter. Guests can also experience quintessential Alaskan dogsledding or set out on a local charter boat in Auke Bay with the hopes of spotting amazing Alaskan wildlife, including Humpback and Orca whales.
Ketchikan, Alaska is truly the beginning of the last frontier. Set at the southernmost entrance to Alaska's famed Inside Passage—a network of waterways that snake through some of the most jaw-droppingly beautiful wilderness in the world—Ketchikan is best known for three things: feisty salmon, idyllic scenery, and an incredibly rich Alaska Native culture. Downtown Ketchikan is a National District.
Ketchikan has the world's largest collection of standing totem poles, found throughout the city and at four major locations

Hubbard Glacier is by far one of Alaska’s most exciting natural treasures. On a Hubbard Glacier cruise, you’ll experience picture-perfect views of this glorious mount of ice from every angle on board one of our luxury cruise ships.
On an Alaska cruise to Hubbard Glacier, witness stunning icy landscapes as your ship makes its way through frigid waters, turning from Yakutat Bay into the narrow Disenchantment Bay to come face-to-face with the towering Hubbard Glacier. The strong currents and riptides that flow between Gilbert Point and the face of the glacier cause calving to occur on a daily basis, sending massive chunks of ice crashing into Disenchantment Bay.
Witness this awe-inspiring phenomenon through the misty, chilled air of the Gulf of Alaska. Our dedicated onboard naturalist narrates the experience and helps you spot the whales, harbor seals, and otters that hunt and play in the waters of Disenchantment Bay. It’s an adventure of a lifetime.
Icy Strait Point is a privately owned tourist destination just outside the small village of Hoonah, Alaska. For the most part, however, Icy Strait Point is a jumping-off point for shore excursions for the cruise passengers.
The most well-known of these is the ZipRider zip-line that completes its run near the facility, which was constructed by the Huna Totem Corporation.
Another popular excursion is to search for coastal brown bears on the nearby Spasski River, where sightings happen but are not guaranteed. Other wildlife, such as bald eagles, are frequently seen in the area. Whale watching excursions are also conducted, as the facility is near the Point Adolphus feeding areas for humpback whales.
The majestic landscapes of Alaska are an unmissable bucket-list experience for any adventurous traveler, and on an Alaska cruise you won’t just hit the highlights like Juneau. From the comfort of your incredible cruise ship, you’ll sail across 500 miles of Alaskan wilderness known as the Inside Passage. This coastal waterway is filled with glacial mountains, lush pine forests, and unforgettable wildlife sightings.
During the best Inside Passage cruise, the summertime sunshine offers plentiful photo opportunities. You might see orcas and humpback whales from your stateroom on your way to destinations like Ketchikan and Icy Strait Point. Marvel at the remote, untouched wilderness where you can breathe in the mountain air and truly think. Sky-high icebergs and glaciers await.
