I get to wake up every day doing something I love. I get to inspire people to do things that inspire them. It’s the most wonderful thing in the world. Now until July 2025, I am working on my thesis at Royal Roads University for my Master of Arts in Tourism Management degree. My thesis is called "Time Travel at the Fortress of Louisbourg in Cape Breton: The implications of social media and visitation of Parks Canada sites"
In August 2023, I relocated from Nova Scotia to pursue the two-year Master of Arts in Tourism Management program at Royal Roads University in Victoria. The global tourism industry needs people who can lead organizations and communities to be resilient and sustainable and to adapt to change. I love how my work as a Travel Advisor brings a lot of experience and knowledge to the program. I am sharing my expertise with faculty and students and also learning from their backgrounds.
For three weeks, I'll be on a wide-ranging adventure exploring ruins, beaches, urban culture, and awe-inspiring landscapes.
