❓ Are spouses or partners allowed to join?
Yes! Everyone is welcome on The Next Wave: Poodles & Friends Sail Again—whether they’re affiliated with the sorority or not.

❓ Do I need to be an active soror to join the cruise?
Nope! Everyone is welcome to sail with us on The Next Wave: Poodles & Friends Sail Again, regardless of sorority status.

💻 Booking & Cabin Options

❓Can I book my own cabin online?
Yes, but it depends on the cabin type:

🛏️ I want to book a Sea Terrace or Central Sea Terrace—what should I do?
These cabins are part of my blocked group inventory and must be booked directly through me to ensure you receive all group perks, including the $200 bar tab and exclusive group events.
✅ Click “request to book” and complete the short form. I’ll reserve your cabin and follow up with next steps.

🚪I’m booking an Insider, Sea View or XL Sea Terrace—can I use the regular link?
Yes! You can use the "book now" button. I’ll manually pull your reservation into the group so you still receive our perks like the $200 bar tab—no extra steps for you.

❓Are there solo cabin rates?
Yes! Virgin Voyages offers Insider and Sea View solo cabins, designed and priced for one person—no double occupancy required.

If you'd rather a full-size cabin (like a Sea Terrace) as a solo sailor, that's fine too! Just note these are priced for two people, so you're responsible for the full fare minus the taxes/fees for the second guest.
Example: Sea Terrace = $3,640 – $130 (2nd guest taxes/fees) = $3,510 solo rate

❓What if I don't have a roommate and don't want a solo Insider or solo Sea View cabin?
If you’d prefer to stay in a Sea Terrace (balcony) cabin but don’t have a roommate, I offer a roommate matching option to help.

Please email me at thenextwave@fleurdeleighinternational.com to request the roommate match request form. Once completed, you’ll receive a link to view the list of other sailors also seeking a roommate. This allows you to review potential matches and connect directly with them.

➡️ It will be your responsibility to find and confirm a roommate.
➡️ The spreadsheet will only be shared with those who have completed the form indicating they’re looking for a roommate.
➡️ FleurDeLeigh International will not assign or match roommates.

This option is great if you want a larger cabin without paying the full double occupancy rate alone.

❓What is a Lock-It-In rate and why are they cheaper?
Lock It In cabins are discounted, but come with restrictions:

• You choose the cabin type, but Virgin assigns the room number

• No changes, upgrades, or cancellations allowed

• Cabin assignment may happen just days before sailing

• Group perks like the $200 bar tab do not apply

💡 Great if you're flexible and want to save money. Otherwise, a standard fare offers more peace of mind.

❓Am I able to get two beds in a cabin?
Yes! Once your cabin is booked, you’ll be able to select a preferred bed configuration (1 bed or 2).

💳 Payments & Pricing

❓When is the final payment due?
Final payment is due August 1, 2026. You can make payments anytime before then to avoid a large balance.

❓Is there a payment plan?
There’s no set plan, but I can provide a suggested payment schedule if helpful. Please email thenextwave@fleurdeleighinternational.com to request one.

❓Is this sailing refundable if I need to cancel?

• 120+ days out: Full refund within 7 days of booking

• 119–45 days: Funds become future voyage credit (FVC)

• 44 or fewer days: Payments are non-refundable, but name changes are allowed up to 48 hours before sailing

• Taxes and fees are always refundable

✈️ Flights, Hotel & Transportation

❓When should I book my flight?
If you're not bundling flights with our group hotel, plan to book separately around March 2026.
We strongly recommend arriving at least one day early to avoid delays.

❓Do I need a hotel for the night before the cruise?
Yes! We recommend arriving in San Juan the day before sailing. Group hotel details and rates will be shared once available.

❓What transportation options are available?

❓Will there be group activities on board?
Yes! We’ll have exclusive group events, including a dinner and optional fun experiences. More details to come!

❓Can I use a debit card or cash on board?
Virgin Voyages is cashless—you’ll need a debit or credit card linked to your account for onboard purchases.

❓Can I bring wine or alcohol on board?
Yes! Each sailor can bring one (1) 750ml bottle of wine. Hard liquor is not allowed.

❓Is a passport required?
Yes. While this is a closed-loop sailing, the ship stops in Martinique, which requires a passport for all U.S. citizens—even if you don't plan to disembark.

❓Are name changes allowed?
Yes! Name changes are allowed up to 48 hours before sail date.

❓Is travel insurance required?
Not required, but strongly recommended. You have two options:

✅ Virgin Voyages travel protection (cruise only)
✅ Third-party insurance (covers cruise, hotel, flights, etc.)
