First Port
Nassau, the capital of The Bahamas, is a vibrant city situated on New Providence Island, renowned for its stunning beaches, rich pirate history, and lively tourist scene; originally founded as a British privateering base called Charles Town, it was later renamed Nassau after King William III and served as a notorious hub for pirates like Blackbeard during the Golden Age of Piracy
Second Port
Great Stirrup Cay was the first uninhabited island to become a private cruise port.
Great Stirrup Cay is a private island in the Bahamas that's owned by Norwegian Cruise Line. It's a tropical destination for guests sailing on Norwegian Cruise Line ships.
It's hard to top the feeling of stepping onboard a ship knowing that the cruise fare you've already paid covers most expenses.
You will enjoy your cabin with private balcony
The center of Norwegian Joy’s daily activities is the Atrium, which hosts cooking demonstrations, dance lessons, arts and crafts, movies, game shows and trivia (although you don’t get the almost-every-hour, on-the-hour trivia sessions that you have on other mainstream cruise ships). Bingo takes place in the main theater.
A Freestyle Daily is delivered to your room every night so you can see what’s going on the next day. NCL also has an app that you can use to build your own schedule.
Norwegian Joy excels at theme parties. The Glow Party, in particular, draws a big crowd of. The 80s Night at Spice H2O, complete with videos from the era, is a lot of fun.
The casino on Norwegian Joy is always busy when open. The main area of the casino is non-smoking, and there’s a glassed-in smoking annex.
Norwegian Joy is a late-night ship. The Free at Sea promotion means that almost everyone has at least the Open Bar drink package, and there are no limits on how many drinks you can get in a day. This means that things can get fun, in a good way, especially during the deck parties, which begin in either Spice H2O or the main pool deck, and then continue indoors at The Social nightclub and go until late.
The Cavern Club has hot ticket shows, like the afore-mentioned Beatles and karaoke. Come 45 minutes early.
Savor and Taste (Deck 6), and Manhattan Room (Deck 7): Norwegian Cruise Line's three main dining rooms: the smaller Savor and Taste are located across from each other and differ only by decor and furniture. Manhattan Room is the largest of the three, has a more elegant feel and is only used for dinner.
Breakfast and lunch are served in Taste and Savor every day. The menu is the same each day. Breakfast offers your usual morning dishes, while lunch is a mix of soups and salads, finger foods, sandwiches and burgers, and hot dishes.
Lunch and dinner have multiple courses. As with lunch, the dinner menu is the same across all three restaurants, but it does vary from day to day -- though appetizer choices do repeat several times. ou can also upscale your dinner by ordering steaks or lobster from Cagney’s.
