7 Night Cruise
Split, Hvar, Blue Cave, Vis, Korčula, Mljet, Šipanska Luka/Slano, Kotor (Montenegro), Dubrovnik
I am so excited to host another Croatia Yacht Charter, this time in Sept 2024. I was fortunate enough to experience this dream trip for the first time in the summer of 2022 and again this past summer.
Some things I have heard repeated over and over during these sailings:
“This is the best trip I have ever been on”
"This doesn't feel real"
"You cannot even describe this to someone"
"You can't understand how wonderful this trip is unless you actually experience it"
"How do we top this? can we?"
"I'm moving here".
It's truly a special place with all the right ingredients: the people, the beauty, the food, the wine, the history, the architecture, the gorgeous sea. And there is no better way to experience it than by yacht. You will experience swim stops and relaxing days on the sundeck as you cruise down the beautiful coastline before exploring coastal towns and islands in the afternoon and evenings. We are ported in a different beautiful town each night.
I hope you’ll join us this year on a new boat and a few changes to the itinerary to keep it fresh!!
Introducing our newest addition to the fleet, the luxurious Avantura cruise ship. This magnificent vessel was built in 2019 and will welcome guests in the 2024 season with fully renovated cabins and a sundeck. Split, Hvar, Blue Cave, Vis, Korčula, Mljet, Šipanska Luka/Slano, Kotor (Montenegro), Dubrovnik
Embarkation begins at 1pm. Get settled in your cabin before attending a Welcome Reception followed by dinner this evening. Split is the second largest Croatian city, best known for its glorious palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979. Overnight in Split.
This morning you will get the opportunity to stroll through the streets of Split accompanied by our guide. Around noon, we set sail towards our first stop, the town of Hvar on the island of Hvar. Swim stop along the way and lunch on board. Upon arrival in Hvar, join our guided city tour to discover its rich history, beautiful architecture, and important landmarks such as the Cathedral of St Stephen, the Theatre which is one of the oldest in Europe dating back to 1612, and the Spanish Fortress. Later in the evening, you can explore the town on your own and see what its night life has to offer. Overnight in Hvar.
In the morning, we set sail again, this time towards the island of Biševo and its famous Blue Cave. This mesmerizing natural attraction is breath-taking with its white floor reflecting sunlight and bathing the cave in aquamarine light. The Blue Cave can only be approached by boat and at times, due to winds, waves and currents, access to the cave is not possible. We can only know about the sea conditions and possibility of entrance on the same morning of the visit. In case we are lucky enough to get to see the Blue Cave, we will arrive in Vis after lunch. Vis is a small town on an eponymous island, well known for its strategic importance through the years. You will have free time to explore Vis at your own pace and visit one of its many fortresses, such as the Fortress of Saint George. Since it was closed during the time of ex-Yugoslavia, the wonderful island is still like an unspoiled and preserved oasis. Overnight in Vis.
Morning departure towards the island of Korčula, with plenty of time for swimming along the sail before lunch. The city of Korčula is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean, thought to be the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. After arriving in Korčula in the afternoon, you will join our guide for a walking tour of Korčula. After the walking tour, enjoy your free evening to try some homemade dishes in one of the many local restaurants. Overnight in Korčula.
We leave in the morning and cruise towards the island of Mljet. Our arrival in Pomena is expected around 10:00. Upon arrival, you will visit the National Park, well known for its versatile eco-system and two salt lakes (‘’Veliko Jezero’’- Big Lake and ‘’Malo Jezero’’- Small Lake), as well as for the 12th-century Benedictine Monastery located on St Mary’s Islet. Walking around the park and its lakes can be very relaxing, and it can make you forget about everything, so please do not forget to come back to the ship for lunch! In the afternoon our adventure continues, and we cruise towards the island of Šipan and its peaceful fishermen’s village, Šipanska Luka. In case we are not able to anchor there because of weather conditions or docking capacity limits, we will cruise to Slano, situated on the mainland. In the evening, enjoy the Captain’s Dinner & Party on board. Overnight in Šipanska Luka or in Slano.
More info coming soon! New addition to the itinerary!
In the morning, we set sail towards Dubrovnik, our last stop and yet another city listed among UNESCO’s World Heritage sites. We will disembark in the port of Gruž where your coach will wait for you. We head to Dubrovnik center for a guided walking tour. After the tour, you will have plenty of free time to explore the rich history of the Old Town or visit some of the famous sights of the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” ride a cable car to Srđ Mountain for a stunning view, or a stroll along the city walls. A coach transfer to the port of Gruž will be organized for you at the scheduled time. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
After breakfast, it’s time to disembark in Dubrovnik.

Do I need a passport?
Yes, you need a passport valid for 6 months post travel.
Are flights included?
No, you will be responsible for booking your own flights, but I am happy to answer questions and give guidance.
Can we add on to our trip with stays before or after our sailing?
Yes, I highly recommend it, your taking a flight over to Europe, might as well make the most of it! I would be happy to help you book pre & post stays in Croatia or any other destination.
How many guests will be onboard?
Max 40 guests, there are 19 cabins.
Where will we eat dinner?
We will have a Welcome dinner (first night) and Captain's dinner/party onboard, the other 5 nights you are free to enjoy dinner in port. You can make reservations ahead of time (I will have a list of recommendations for you) or you can wing it and find something as you walk around. I have had some of favorite meals of all time on my trips to Croatia!
What time do we need to be back onboard in the evening?
The tour manager communicates with the group each day letting us know what time the next morning we are leaving port. Something I love about this mode of travel is not having to rush back to the boat by a certain time, our evenings are open to explore. Typically the only night we may not be ported overnight is the night of the Captain's Dinner.
What about travel insurance?
I HIGHLY recommend travel insurance. Once your deposit is received I will send you a quote for travel insurance which you can purchase right from the email quote. Once you purchase your flights and any other pre/post stays we can add them to the policy as well.
