AmaMagna

Built in 2019, the AmaMagna 196 passenger ship is twice the width of traditional European river ships.  She offers more personal space, more unique dining venues and more leisure opportunities, redefining the river cruise experience!  


In March 2023, she unveiled her newest amenity, a regulation size pickleball court!    The court is an industry first, and will allow guests to play when the ship is docked.  


The sun-deck has several additional amenities such as  a pool, whirlpool, putting green, track,  chess and place to relax.   AmaMagna’s Zen Wellness Studio is another expansive space with a fitness center, two massage rooms and a refreshing juice bar.

When docked, guests will get the thrill of playing pickleball while floating on a river.    While there are included excursions every day, plus many more ship amenities, guests will sign up to play with the onboard cruise manager.

Foodies will delight on the AmaMagna as it introduces two enticing new dining venues: Jimmy’s, a family-style restaurant named for AmaWaterways’ late Co-Owner Jimmy Murphy, and the Al Fresco Restaurant, with retractable windows and outdoor seating. In addition, there is also the main restaurant and The Chef’s Table specialty restaurant — the only venue of its kind on the rivers. There, guests are treated to a multi-course tasting menu.  Your evening at the Chef's Table will be a favorite memory while on-board the ship. Daily, each venue serves locally-sourced ingredients and beautifully plated by an expert chef. And after just one bite, you’ll understand why AmaWaterways was inducted into the internationally renowned culinary society known as La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs!
