The Manulife Premium Protection Plan is designed for residents of Canada who:
a) are covered with a government health insurance plan for the policy duration;
b) are age 74 or younger (at the time of purchasing the policy);
c) are travelling for a maximum of 30 days inclusive of any extension (including the date you leave on your trip and including the date you return home);
d) are listed as Insured Person(s) on the confirmation of coverage and
e) purchased the plan within 72 hours of making a deposit or initial payment on the trip travel arrangements.
Coverage includes Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption, Travel Disruption, Emergency Medical, Baggage Loss, Damage and Delay and Travel Accident. Due to COVID-19, inclusions in your vacation such as flight, hotel amenities services, excursions, ground transport etc. may be different than advertised, including being reduced or unavailable. By booking, you understand and accept the foregoing and you agree that Transat cannot be held liable for such changes.
It is the responsibility of the passenger to verify documentation requirements direct with the embassy or consulate of the country of travel. Customs and/or immigration officials can deny a person entry into their country at their own discretion. We strongly recommend travelling with a passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date. Log on to www.voyage.gc.ca for country information. Please be aware that different living standards and practices exist outside of Canada including by not limited to provisions of utilities, accommodations and services of all kinds. Deposits are non refundable and non-transferable. Change fees may apply. It is extremely important that all clients purchase out of country medical insurance. If you have a policy with your employer or credit card we strongly recommend that you review the inclusions and limitations. This booking is subject to Transat Vacations and Gravitate Travel terms and conditions as follows below. Upon receipt of the group contract, you are bound by the terms and conditions therein.

Please be aware that it is common for flight times at all hours of the day or night. Please also note that the designated flight time by the airline is not within our control and will be forwarded to you once they have been released by the operator.
Connector Flights:
All connection flight reservations booked with a carrier other than Transat (as per tour operator - Transat Vacations) are made at the risk of the consumers who hereby agree to assume the cost of any loss in the event of a change to the original flight schedules. Any changes or cancellations are subject to penalties as per the carriers terms and conditions and may supersede the Tour Operator / Gravitate Travel terms and conditions. The Tour Operator / Gravitate Travel cannot be held liable for damages or additional fees incurred by the consumer due to a missed flight connection.
Hotel Room
You are guaranteed the room category for which you have booked and paid for however, sometimes hotels over-sell themselves. In this event, they will upgrade you complimentary to their next available room category. It is also very important to note that room requests such as king size beds, adjoining rooms and location of the room will be submitted to the hotel on your behalf but are NOT guaranteed. These are allocated by the hotel upon check-in. Any and all hotel-related issues MUST be addressed with hotel management directly at the time of their occurrence as most often we can not assist with resolving such matters after your return and after the occurrence and especially if you did not bring it to their attention at the time. They are best equipped to satisfy your needs while you are there.
Final Payment is December 3rd, 2025
Final payment is due on the date dated on your invoice. Any passengers who have not paid in full by this date can be cancelled without notice. It is your responsibility to pay your remainder on time. We reserve the right to cancel group space if you fail to comply with the payment schedule or other requirements outlined in this agreement. Penalties as outlined in this contract would apply.

All payments must be received in the group before any travel documents can be released. Failure to pay by this date could result in cancellation of your booking.
Tickets / Documents
Tickets are normally released 1-2 weeks prior to departure.
No tickets will be released until Gravitate Travel and the tour operator has received all payments for the group.
It is solely the responsibility of the passenger to ensure that valid and proper documentation is obtained. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in denied boarding of the aircraft and cancellation of your flight arrangements without refund.
CHANGES
Change of departure date or return date prior to departure:
Passengers may be excluded from the group. Group rate may not be applicable, brochure prices & conditions may apply.
65 days or more - Loss of Deposit
64 -25 days prior to departure - 60% of the total cost per person including taxes, fees, and surcharges
Within 24 days from departure - Changes are not permitted (and as such will be recorded as a cancellation and therefore 100% loss of cost.)
Name changes:
65 days or more - $50 per change
64-25 days prior to departure - $150 per change
Within 24 days from departure - 100 % of total cost per person including taxes, fees and surcharges
-- Changing all names on a file constitutes a cancellation
Reissue:
To re-issue a document, a fee of $50 will be required (plus any fees applied by the suppliers)
CANCELLATION PENALTIES
From time of booking up 65 days prior to departure: Loss of Deposit
64 days to 25 days prior departure: 60% of total package price penalty per person
24 days or less prior to departure: 100% of total package price penalty per person

Travel Insurance:
Please also be advised that it is *HIGHLY* recommended for you to protect yourself with travel insurance when traveling outside of the province at time of deposit. Please advise sooner than later if you would like to purchase any trip cancellation or interruption insurance, as it is best to purchase while you are in good health, as they will not cover any pre-existing conditions. Gravitate Travel offers Manulife Travel Insurance. All insurance rates are estimates and are only available for Ontario residents. Residents of other provinces must purchase insurance directly at Manulife Insurance. **TRAVEL INSURANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED**
