Abu Dhabi City Tour
Breakfast at the hotel, then depart for a full day tour of Abu Dhabi.
Our Tour to the Capital Abu Dhabi Emirates will take you to explore the main sites and areas of the city such as:
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque: As one of the world's largest mosques, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is an example of architectural styles from different Muslim civilizations and it is a place of worship and cultural diversity. Initiated by the late president H.E. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan AL Nahyan, the founder of the UAE, the Mosque features 82 domes, more than 1000 columns, 24-carat gold gilded chandeliers and the world's largest hand-knotted carpet.
Here is a quick list of things to consider when visiting a mosque.
It is encouraged to wear modest, loose-fitting long-sleeved and comfortable clothes. Men and women should both dress modestly, in looser-fitting clothing that covers the arms and legs—no shorts or sleeveless shirts for either gender. Women should also bring a scarf. Not all mosques will ask female visitors to cover their heads, but it's a sign of respect to have one ready. There are spaces where prayers are conducted, and you may be requested to wear a head covering in the prayer hall. Mosques tend to have extras however, having a personal one is much better!
Mosques will request upon entry to the prayer space for shoes to be removed to preserve the sanctity of the space.
Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi Hotel: Photo stop to this iconic hotel of Abu Dhabi with its charmful mix of Islamic & contemporary design.
Date Market: A brief stop at the Date market, to savor the many wonderful varieties of dates from the region.
Louvre and Ferrari World Photo stop: On the way back, drive through Saadiyat island for a Photo stop at the unique Louvre Abu Dhabi architectural building and then into Yas island for another photo stop at the famous Ferrari World Theme Park (The world's largest Ferrari Logo). From here, transfer to your hotel for overnight and leisure.
