For me, that destination is Michoacán, Mexico.
Years ago, while I was on a Disney Cruise and I didn't have a child with me...I decided to go watch this movie CoCo. I was captivated by its beautiful portrayal of Día de los Muertos—Day of the Dead. The vibrant marigolds, the candlelit pathways, the family traditions, the music, and the powerful message that our loved ones are never truly gone as long as we remember them touched my heart in a way I never expected. I was snot boogah crying in that theater that night.
Ever since then, I've wanted to Nikperience this celebration for myself—not through a movie screen, but in the very region that inspired it.

Born from a cornfield in 1943, Parícutin transformed the landscape forever and left behind one of Mexico's most fascinating geological wonders, including the famous church tower rising from hardened lava.
