Discover Stockholm and the Stockholm Archipelago by Foot
Sweden is home to more islands than any other country in the world. At its very center lies Stockholm – a capital city built across 14 islands, where urban life seamlessly flows into one of the world’s largest and most unique archipelagos. Here, more than 30,000 islands, skerries and rocky islets stretch out into the Baltic Sea, forming a landscape found nowhere else on Earth.
This extraordinary region has recently been named a “Best in the World Destination” by National Geographic, thanks to the Stockholm Archipelago Trail – a long-distance hiking route that invites you to slow down, breathe deeply and experience nature from the inside out.
We invite you to join an exclusive four-day FAM trip (23–26 April) that will take you through three distinctive islands: the vibrant yet nature-driven Djurgården in central Stockholm, and two authentic islands in the outer archipelago. This is a journey designed for those who want to understand the destination not just by seeing it, but by walking through it.
Each day we will hike approximately 3-4 hours along carefully selected sections of the Stockholm Archipelago Trail, surrounded by forests, open sea, smooth granite cliffs and quiet bays. Along the way, we enjoy Swedish fika and outdoor lunches, connecting with nature, with each other, and with the rhythm of the landscape.
This is more than a familiarisation trip.
It is an invitation to experience silence, sea, stone and sky – and to discover why Stockholm and the Archipelago is truly Best in the World.
