To highlight what's outlined in the itinerary, we will have you flying into Edinburgh International Airport (EDI) where you will be met by the "glue" to your trip, your driver who will be with you throughout your trip in Scotland.
Once on board with bags and clubs, you will head north to Dornoch, a 3+ hr transfer but when you are coming off an overnight flight, this transfer time is gold for catching up on lost sleep on the flight.
Once in the Highlands, your itinerary includes a balance of well known links golf courses with some lessor known hidden gems. As you say, the golf might be fun but the true bonus of being in this part of the world is the plentitude of whisky distilleries to explore after your golf.
To finish it off, your last day will have you checking out of your hotel, playing a morning round and then heading south towards Edinburgh Airport for ideal positioning for your morning flight home.
The transfer south takes you back through the Speyside Valley which might allow you one more distillery visit before getting to your hotel late afternoon.
All in all, a perfect mix of world class link golf, good whisky and warm Scottish hospitality - it just can't get any better, can it!
