This was a trip I put together for a mother-daughter trip and they definitely were budget conscious ladies. They wanted to experience Japan like the locals and didn't mind the budget accommodations. They had many specific requests like hiking Mt. Fuji, going to Cat Island (it was too far from the rest of their itinerary so I suggested Rabbit Island instead), and staying in a Capsule Hotel.
