Cycle Camino de Santiago

What is the Camino de Santiago de Compostela?

It is one of the world's oldest pilgrimages. For centuries, millions walked to the tomb of the Apostle St. James, believing the hard journey would shorten their time in purgatory. Since the Camino technically started at your own front door, there are multiple routes, but the most traveled by the earliest pilgrims, is the Camino Francés. We will start our Camino in the small village Leon and make our way to Santiago de Compostela.

This iconic path passes through the breathtaking countryside of Northern Spain. Gothic cathedrals, medieval monasteries and miles of beautiful rural scenery make this section of the ancient route so nice to cycle.

We will follow scallop shell to Santiago like the millions who came before us. Each groove of the shell represents the different routes pilgrims can take to reach Santiago and the reasons why.

Today the pilgrimage is not only for the faithful, but for anyone who seeks self knowledge, a respite from modern life, or a physical and mental challenge. Whatever your reason, as you follow the scallop shell, you will discover like so many before you that the 'Camino Provides' exactly what you need it to.

Upon arrival in Santiago, you will receive your certificate of completion.

I wish you a Buen Camino!
