We will also take you on a behind-the-scenes journey into Portugal's intriguing Jewish past. From the Crypto-Jewish community hidden in the interior of the country to a tiny border towns that served as safe havens for people fleeing the Spanish Inquisition and Nazi Germany, Portugal has a very interesting story and we have the country's leading experts to tell it.

Departure dates: this program is 100% private and customized for your group, including your departure dates.
Places included : Lisbon, Cascais, Sintra, Estoril, Porto, the Douro Valley, the Alentejo, Belmonte, and Guarda.
Note about lodging: All of our programs are designed with sophisticated, discerning American travelers in mind. That's our specialty. For our lodging selections, we suggest two levels of experiences: "upscale" and "luxury". As a default, this program includes upscale accommodations. Feel free to contact us if you'd like to upgrade to the luxury experience.
Note regarding food restrictions: If you have specific food allergies or restrictions, please let us known upon confirming your travel program. We will ask you to fill out a quick survey which will provide us with the information that we need to curate your meals.
Sheree’s note: Portugal's cuisine is very diverse; however, there are still many limitations compared to what we're used to in the U.S. Unfortunately, at present, we do not have local suppliers who can accommodate the following: vegan, Kosher, or Halal.
Note about available upgrades: At Immersa Global, we are aware that our clients enjoy some extra indulgence on occasion. Therefore, we've created a list of possible upgrades that are available on specific days during the program. If you are interested in having something that is not listed, just ask. Our local suppliers are like family to us, and they enjoy making our clients happy just as much as we do.
We will also present you with our current list of vetted recommendations for the best food, drink, and special local treats for you to enjoy during your free time in each location.
