Piedmont (or Piemonte, in Italian) is a land of striking contrasts. Rolling hills are covered in vineyards and give way to the majestic, snow-capped peaks of the Italian Alps. This region is renowned not only for its breathtaking natural beauty, but charming villages and elegant cities that can be found throughout the countryside. Torino, the region's capital, is considered the 'Paris' of Italy with its elegant architecture and lively environment.
For our food and wine lovers, we urge you to think beyond Tuscany to discover the gourmet haven that is Piemonte. Offering an extraordinary culinary scene, the region has a reputation for being Italy's gastronomic capital with such delicacies as the White Truffle making their home here, along with the king of wines, Barolo.
