Explore new parts of Tuscany on this tour. If you've been to Tuscany before, you have likely been to areas in Chianti, around Siena, or possibly southern Tuscany such as Montepulciano, Pienza, and Montalcino.
On this trip, our first stop will be west of Florence - near the hometown of Leonardo da Vinci. We will explore the local wines, particularly the special Carmignano region and get hands on with cooking, taste new wines, and enjoy beautiful hilltop towns and Tuscan countryside views.
After Tuscany we will head to one of my very favorite places in all of Italy, Santa Margherita Ligure / Portofino. This piece of the Italian Riviera became a favorite of mine on my first visit back in 2014 and I've been going back ever since. It's been a year or two so it's now time and I want to share my favorite things with you. We will boat, wine, dine, and enjoy a free day of doing whatever you very well please - whether that be shopping, sitting by the pool or on the beach, or hiking the peninsula with gorgeous views.

- This trip is open to a maximum of 10 travelers – there will be no more than 12 people including your hosts. I will be hosting the trip myself with at least one other person.
- Trip cost includes all transportation, food, lodging, described experiences and gratuities (see detail below on selecting your room rate)
- Price excludes flights and free day spending. (To arrive in Italy on September 19, you would need to depart the US on the 18th, FYI.)

- For individual travelers hoping to share a room, I will do my best to accommodate separate beds, however I cannot guarantee this. You will have a confirmation one way or another before paying a trip deposit.
Price:
- Per person trip cost: $5,130 including tax
- The trip is priced per person for all transportation, food, activities, guides, etc. NOT including hotels. You will then select your particular hotel room and rate in each stop and then add to your trip total, whether you are an individual or a couple.
Room Options and Rates: Room selections will be allocated on a first-requested basis. The first person to confirm their trip deposit gets to choose their room from the available list, then the second, and so on and so forth.
Prices are total per room and include breakfast.

Payments:
- Planning deposit of $500 per person + 30% overall hotel deposit to claim your spot
- 25% remaining balance payment due 90 days prior to travel
- Final balance payment due 30 days prior to travel
****All payments are non-refundable after time of payment.****
The hotels require a 30% non-refundable deposit on rooms. If you are for some reason are unable to travel, I will do my best to fill your spot and repay deposits, however, I absolutely cannot guarantee this will be possible and therefore recommend looking into independent travel insurance (www.insuremytrip.com).
Travelers
- Should be at least 18 years old and in good health with good mobility
- Have a valid passport (must be valid for 6 months after your scheduled return to the US)
- Any dietary restrictions or allergies MUST be noted at the time of booking.
- Food "preferences" cannot be guaranteed during the trip as this is very much a local food and wine trip with family-style meals - often at the whim of the chef. Pasta, beef, seafood, veggies, salad, etc will all be included. Vegetarian dishes can be accommodated.
- If you elect not to participate in an activity, tour, etc - no refund shall be provided.
