This 3-day journey blends Sintra’s UNESCO-listed hills with its enchanting palaces, forests, and castles, including the Moorish Castle and colorful Pena Palace. From Sintra, the trail leads through lush woodland to Monserrate Palace and the secluded Capuchos Convent before descending toward the Atlantic. Arriving at Praia Grande, the scenery shifts to dramatic coastal cliffs and ocean views. The route continues past the picturesque Adraga Beach and its striking Pedra de Alvidrar formation. Further ahead, wild Ursa Beach and the impressive Fojo sea cave showcase the raw power of the coastline. The adventure ends at Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, with sweeping views over the endless Atlantic.
