This program is the ultimate hybrid - horseback and driving safari. Thoughtfully designed to highlight some of Tanzania's most iconic parks and for the ultimate wildlife viewing. One available certain weeks from December - April annually - during The Great Migration - Calving Season
Horseback Portion: Visits Southern Serengeti Region - Short Grass Plains wildlife sightings such as general plains game (antelope, gazelle, zebra), the great migration herds - possible views of giraffes, lions, cheetahs, elephants and leopards.
Saddle Days: 3 Saddle Days (~4 Rides 3-4 hours per ride) in the Ngorongoro Conservancy
Horseback Portion Accommodation: Mobile tents with single cots - in a double tent, bucket shower and compost toilet. Full Board meals and selection of locally sourced beverages.
Safari Portion: Following the ridden portion of the safari spend a few nights in the Southern Region doing driven game drives (more possibility to spot large predator cats). One night on Ngorongoro crater and a game drive on the crater floor which is know to have some the greatest density of wildlife!

Price includes: Horseback safari as mentioned - includes mount/tack, guide/lead horse, grooms and camp staff. Mafia Island Extension
Mafia Island for some beach time/Whale Shark Snorkelling, a flight will depart at 12:00pm from Manyara Region - after the Crater Game Drive.
Inclusions: Three night accommodations on half board, 1 day Whale Shark Snorkelling (additional days can be added for ~$60 USD), one way Internal flight from Manyara Landing Strip - Mafia, and return flight from Mafia - Dar Es Salaam. All hotel and airport transfers.
