An experience like no other! Put on your hiking shoes and track the endangered Black Rhino on foot in the Sera Converancy in Northern Kenya . An incredibly unique and exhilarating walking safari adventure with a certified safari walking guide and conservancy ranger. While the adventure is centered around tracking these modern day dinosaurs, guests may even come across herds of elephants and other wildlife. In addition to wildlife, the adventure offers guests the opportunity for birdwatching and cultural experiences with the “singing wells”. Guests who embark upon this adventure also contribute to the protection of the endangered black rhino species.
This unique experience takes place in is the first community owned Rhino Sanctuary in Africa.
Guests can also pay a visit to The Reteti Elephant Sanctuary in Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy located in the remote Mathews Range nearby, providing protection for orphaned and abandoned elephant calves with an aim to release them back into the wild herds adjoining the Sanctuary.
