Official Terms & Conditions for the "Thank a Teacher" Giveaway

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. The Thank a Teacher Giveaway (the "Promotion") begins at 9:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on May 3, 2024 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. PT on May 17, 2024 (the "Promotion Period"). The computer clock of the Sponsor (defined below) is the official time-keeping device in the Promotion.

1. Eligibility:

- This contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.

- Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.

- No purchase necessary to enter or win.

2. How to Enter:

- To enter, nominate a teacher using the “Thank a Teacher” nomination form. Forms can be found on www.getawaywithaprilmay.com, one of the official getaway posts through Getaway with April May’s pages on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok, or via email sent to subscribers.

- Each nomination must include the nominator’s first name, last name and email address, and the nominee’s first name, last name and email address.

- The Promotion Parties are not responsible for technical, electronic, telephone, hardware, software or network, computer or data transmission errors, malfunctions, or difficulties of any kind, or for false, incorrect, changed, incomplete or illegible contact information.

3. Grand Prize Details:

- The grand prize consists of a discount certificate applicable towards a Virgin Voyage.

- The certificate offers a discount on the total cost of booking a NEW Virgin Voyage and must be applied at the time of purchase.

- Please note that the discount certificate has no standalone cash value and is only valuable when used in conjunction with the purchase of a qualifying Virgin Voyage.

- The prize certificate is subject to the terms and conditions set by Virgin Voyages.

- This prize has no cash value and is not transferable.

4. Consolation Prizes:

- 10 teachers will each receive (1) Getaway with April May gift certificate. Certificate is good for travel planning services, valid for one trip for two adults. This prize has no cash value and is not transferable.

- 10 nominators will each receive (1) Getaway with April May gift certificate. Certificate is good for travel planning services, valid for one trip for two adults. This prize has no cash value and is not transferable.

5. Entry and Drawing:

- Nominators will receive one entry per teacher nominated.

- Nominees receive one entry per unique teacher nominated. Multiple nominations for the same teacher by the same person will not result in additional entries.

- Nominations are accepted from 12:00 AM Pacific Time on May 3, 2024, until 11:59 PM Pacific Time on May 17, 2024.

5. Selection of Winner:

- Winners will be selected via a random raffle.

6. Notification:

- The winner will be announced live via Facebook, shared on other social media channels, and notified by email within 24 hours of the drawing.

- If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize and select a replacement winner.

7. General Conditions:

- By entering this contest, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the contest and these terms and conditions without notice.

8. TAX INFORMATION:

- All federal, state, local, provincial, and other taxes on prize and any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
