My passion for travel and adventure started back when I was a kid and my family did a cross-country drive from California to Washington DC. I will never forget seeing sites like the Washington Monument, the Smithsonian, and my personal favorite, the Lincoln Memorial. On that same trip, we also visited family in the Appalachians of Virginia, and the beautiful woods and catching fireflies at night, and walking across the street to the store my great-grandpa owned for a candy bar are also ingrained in my memory. These experiences not only broadened my world, but those 2 very different locations gave me 2 new perspectives on what it is to be a citizen of the world.

My goal as a travel agent and group host is to not only help you achieve your much earned vacation, but to help you come home from it with that same sense of awe and wonder at the world around us and what you just experienced. I delight in helping individuals, families and groups have the adventure of a lifetime! As an individual traveler I can help you decide if striking out on your own or finding an organized tour full of like minded travelers is the best fit. I have no end of ideas of great activities and locations for families of different ages, abilities and interests to make sure everyone has a great time. Bring me your friend group, wedding party or business! I can put together a marvelous experience complete with value added perks and will even host when appropriate if it makes it easier for you to enjoy yourself.

While I can and do help people create incredible adventures all over the world, there are a few places that have my heart and where I have the most experience. In the US, I love Alaska, Hawaii, New England, and my home region of the Pacific Northwest. Would you like a fishing trip or wilderness experience in Alaska? An island hopping or one island dream trip to Hawaii? A literary or fall color tour of New England? What about all the outdoor adventure in the beautiful PNW region with a top-off in the exciting cities of Seattle or Portland?

Costa Rica! One of the most magical places I have ever been, it literally changed me, shook my view of the world to the core. If you are looking for wildlife, nature, and all the high adventure you can handle, CR is your place. The country's motto “Pura Vida” (pure life) embodies the laidback, friendly, keep-it-chill life philosophy of the country that will surely rub off on you while you are there. I will never forget the beautiful Arenal region with its volcano at center stage and hot spring resorts in all price points around it, ziplining and seeing a hummingbird that only exists in the mystical cloud forest of Monteverde, or waking up in one of the most biodiverse locations on the planet, the Osa Peninsula, in my waterfront, open-air finca surrounded by white-faced capuchin monkeys and floating in the bay at night with the stars, fireflies, and bioluminescence lighting the way.

And of course, there's Europe, on most bucket lists! I truly believe Europe has something for everyone and I have been privileged to visit and plan adventures in over a dozen countries there. History, culture, beaches, mountains, outdoor activity, and of course the food and wine scene (the beers aren’t too shabby either!), Europe has it all! I have some of my favorite personal adventures there. We did a train and hiking loop trip through Switzerland, starting in Zurich, then up to the Jungfrau region (we had to take gondolas to get there!) to the sweetest village of Gimmelwald, south to Zermatt and the Matterhorn, then back north on the Glacier Express to St Moritz a great ending spot or jumping off to your next stop. Another year we did a self-guided biking tour through the Peloponnese region of Greece (I can book these for you all over Europe), with a longer visit in both Athens and Nafplio, an amazing mainland town often called “little Paris”. And of course, I can’t forget visits to a few loved ones in Slovenia and a little village outside of Dresden, Germany (Dresden is amazing by the way) and the lovely people there that shared their lives with me, and that I will always hold in my heart.

Whether any of these adventures resonate with you, or you have one already in mind and need my help putting it together, I am so excited to help you have YOUR next big adventure, whether your goals are some much needed R and R or you want all the action you can handle!
