They say everything’s bigger in Texas, and that proves to be true when it comes to the big life Scott Villarreal-Dowlearn’s lived so far—and he’s still got a long way to go! Texas-native, Scott took a leap across the world and spent high school as an exchange student in Germany, where he then went on to join the Air Force and served for four years. After a degree in Biology from the University of Houston and a degree in Theology from Liberty University, Scott became a Deputy sheriff, where he was even featured on four episodes of Cops.

 His life underwent a drastic change in 2017 when he was involved in an accident while on the job. He suffered from severe injuries, but underwent two years of therapy and came out on the other side, ready to travel more than ever. Thanks to his service, Scott has been awarded the Mothers Against Drunk Driving DWI Enforcement Award three years in a row. After that experience, Scott was ready for a change. Together with his loving husband of seven years, Scott hit the road for plenty of road trip travels. They spent the pandemic on the road, traveling and making memories which led Adam to the idea and saying, “let’s be travel agents.” Thus, Prestige Travel Concierge was born. 

Scott’s innate sense of genuine connection with people coupled with his energetic, charismatic spirit have warmed clients to him as an agent immediately. After joining the industry in just November of 2021, Prestige Travel has been named a top up-and-coming agencies by top travel suppliers and industry leaders. Scott understands how precious life is, and the importance of making memories with the ones we love the most while we have time. His deep passion shines through in every interaction, making clear how important it is to him to craft the perfect vacation to fit every budget, every occasion, and every individual. His vast experience as a traveler is just one more reason he’s fast becoming a favorite among travelers. So far, his travels have taken him to Cozumel countless times, beneath the waves to dive with bull sharks in Playa del Carmen, under the earth to float in the largest underground river in the world, and—most recently—to the far, icy reaches of Antarctica. Soon, there won’t be a continent Scott hasn’t set foot on. 

Among all his adventures, however, his favorite is starting a business with the love of his life. Putting together the perfect vacation that allows his clients to experience the life-changing moments he’s been able to is what makes being a travel planner his passion. Not coming from money, the family vacations of road tripping to the beach shaped Scott into understanding that the memories made are what a trip is really about. To be given the opportunity to help people see beyond their bubble is a gift that he cares deeply about as an agent.
