Hello, my name is Nichole Pierce and I became a Travel Agent because I love to travel.
Cue the eye rolls!
It is kind of a pre-requisite to love traveling if you want to be an agent, right? But is that the real reason I became an agent? Nope!
I was a stay-at-home mom of 3 young children trying to figure out what I wanted to be “when I grew up.” I am serious, I actually said that; out loud, to people! I did the normal everyday mom things; fed kids, carpooled to school, rushed to after school activities, back and forth to preschool, field trips, grocery shopping, and the list goes on!
When I was pregnant with my youngest, I told my daughter that I would take her and her brother to Disney when the baby turned 3. Well guess what? Three years FLEW by and now my daughter was expecting to go to Disney world. I am not going to lie planning a trip to Disney intimidated me. I had planned so many trips over the years and I loved every minute of it but Disney? Where did I even start?
I was so overwhelmed. A friend of mine suggested I use her Travel Agent. Travel Agent? Are they even around anymore? Why would I pay to use an Agent when I can just try to figure this out on my own? “She gets paid by Disney” my friend said. WHAT? You mean she does all the work and I pay the SAME price as if I booked it myself?
Done!
I called her up and we got to talking. It took maybe 30 minutes, she asked me some questions about myself, my kids, and my husband; what type of things we wanted to do and see and our expectations of the trip. Can this be real?
She did everything…booked our hotel, flights, transportation, restaurants, character dinners, fast passes, everything! She kept up on when the payments were due and when it was time to schedule our restaurants and fast passes, making sure that everything was perfect for our trip. She even scheduled in downtime for us knowing we had preschoolers.
I. DID. NOTHING.
I downloaded an app, and everything was there for me. It was magical. I was able to focus on my kids and our time together rather than stress about where we were going to eat or the lousy reservation I got because I did not know how fast restaurants book up.
When we got home from that magical vacation a spark lit up inside of me. I wanted to do that. I wanted to give people that same relaxed feeling on their vacation.
I want my clients to rekindle their marriage on an anniversary trip, connect with their children and see the world through their eyes, or just get away with friends and truly unwind. Knowing that I’ve personally designed the perfect trip just for them.
If you are ready to schedule your next vacation; grab your passports, I’ll design the rest.
