After 20 years as a military spouse, I am accustomed to moving back and forth across the country. But not getting to go where *I* wanted to go. So I changed that, and travelling with my family has become one of our favourite activities – after hockey, of course! The planning process became even more exhilarating than the trip itself, and I began to seek out trips for friends and family as well…and so here we are!

Our favourite family destination is Orlando. Which brings a tough choice between Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort. Being a Certified Orlando Destination Expert, my best answer? Go often and stay longer! 

For the grown ups - I'm happiest with a mojito on the beach. There are so many amazing resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico, I can't narrow it down to just one. So I will work my way through them all... one at a time! 

In the last few years, we have been bitten by the cruise-bug.  Cruises are an amazing way to "taste" a destination, without committing an entire trip to one place.  On our most recent cruise, we learned that we LOVE the people, the places, and the flavours of Belize, and that we must go back for a longer stay.
