My Favorite Destination: Turks and Caicos

When I think about the place that has captured my heart, it’s impossible to ignore the incredible beauty of Turks and Caicos and Grand Turk Islands. The crystal-clear waters, the peaceful beaches, and the vibrant marine life—this is my paradise. I’ve been fortunate enough to visit three times, and each trip has been nothing short of magical. For anyone who shares a love for the ocean, these waters hold a special kind of peace. Whether I’m scuba diving, snorkeling with my family, or simply soaking up the sun, I find myself completely at home here. The ocean has a way of grounding me, reminding me of what truly matters.

Family Adventures in the Outer Banks

As much as I adore tropical escapes, I also find incredible joy in the simple beauty of the Outer Banks. My family and I make this coastal gem a priority every year, and it’s become our own special place. It’s where my daughter surfs the waves, where we stay near the wild horses roaming the dunes, and where my history-buff husband is thrilled by the shipwrecks and Blackbeard history. Every corner of the Outer Banks feels steeped in adventure, and it’s a perfect balance between relaxation and exploration. I love watching my daughter grow up in this environment, learning to appreciate nature, history, and the joys of travel.

The Magic of Theme Parks

Of course, family travel isn’t complete without a little bit of magic—and that’s where Disney World and Universal Studios come in. We’ve made multiple trips to these iconic theme parks, and as our daughter grows, our interests evolve too. While Magic Kingdom was once the focal point of our visits, today, we find ourselves immersed in the excitement of Hollywood Studios (hello, Star Wars!) and Universal’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter. And let’s not forget our must-stop at Discovery Cove every time we visit Florida!

I’m also a roller coaster enthusiast, and I’ve passed that love on to my daughter. We’re season pass holders at Hershey Park, and there’s something magical about the thrill of those coasters and the joy of experiencing them together. Hershey Park holds a special place in our hearts, not just for the coasters but for the joy it brings to our entire family.

We’ve had the privilege of exploring many of the East Coast’s theme parks, and now, our sights are set on expanding our horizons. As we continue to travel nationwide and internationally, we’re excited to discover more thrilling adventures, new parks, and unforgettable experiences.

My Bucket List: Dreaming Big

And, of course, no travel enthusiast's journey is complete without a visit to all the international Disney parks—Japan, Paris, Shanghai, and Hong Kong are calling my name. The world is vast, and the possibilities are endless.
