I am a California native with the sun and surf coursing through my veins. My family moved to Nebraska when I was in grade school, and I’ve made pilgrimages to the ocean ever since. I grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, and have lived here most of my life. In 2003, I got a wild hair and moved to Chicago for a few years, where I went from knowing no one to leading a social group with over 1800 members within a matter of months. I moved back to Lincoln in 2007, met my husband Dane in 2012, and have been here ever since (except when I'm not). lol.

I’ve spent 18 years (and counting) working at travel agencies in various capacities, including five years spent working with groups. I’ve escorted tours to Germany, Paris, Santa Monica, Boston, Newport, Seattle, and even spent a season taking people to Husker away games.

Often described as "thorough" and detail oriented, I'm also kind and empathetic and have that special midwestern friendliness. I look forward to helping clients plan group trips with their loved ones, be it with family or friends, and hosting my own Connections by Kathy tours around the world. Sometimes, just a little help and encouragement is all that’s needed to help folks deepen bonds, repair relationships, and improve their quality of life. 

In my free time, I love to travel with my husband Dane, take way too many photos, research my family history, and recharge by spending quality couch time watching Disney movies with Dane & our cats, Tinsel & Jet.
