This free guide will get you started as you begin to plan your trip to Porto.
Portugal's Second City is perfect for families, couples and first time international travelers!
If you love wine, history, architecture and culture, then Porto is a city for you! This charming city is small enough to experience in just a few days and provide enough to experience to visit for a week and allow some time to explore the surrounding areas such as the Douro Valley or take a few days to relax at in the Dao Wine Region just south of the city.
Porto has the best of all worlds; an energetic city with a great food scene, gorgeous views from and of the Douro River from it's six stunning bridges or go east and immerses yourself in the ambience of the Atlantic Ocean.
This guide offers three days worth of plans but if you are staying longer, it would be very easy to build on. My mission by creating these is to support local, small businesses as much as I can and give travelers an authentic experience, pulling you from the touristy areas when possible.
