This trip was designed for 2 couples traveling together with the goal to visit Northern Italy's highlights, slightly off-path cities and villages on an upper-moderate budget (3 and 4-star hotels). They preferred to avoid the big tourist cities of Rome, Florence and Venice as they explored the quieter and more authentic side of Italian life while not being completely off-path.

They had a total of 12 days to travel door-to-door, with 10 nights on ground in Italy. We designed a trip with the 4 bases of Bologna, Verona, Lake Como and Milan for hotels, with day-trips from each base to complement. Milan was the perfect end for their flight back to the USA.

Following is a simplified version of a more complex itinerary planned for the couples. More details were included in the final version, along with restaurant reservations, vouchers and various travel documents.
