Explore the most amazing natural wonders of Iceland, from the many geothermal features, to the Icelandic ponies on this self-drive trip lasting one week. 

Start in Reykjavik after your international flight with a soak in the world-famous Blue Lagoon. Go caving and snorkeling between two continental plates. Drive north and along the "Golden Circle" through the Kjolur 4WD-only mountain route, seeing some of the most beautiful waterfalls, geothermal features, and landscapes in the world. Perhaps you'll see a pony along the way!

Go whale watching to see any number of species of whales in Dalvik and spend some time in charming Akureyri before driving back by way of the east coast, through the "lobster capital of Iceland", Hofn. 

Drive back to Reykyavik and finish your trip with some urban night-life and a final soak in the Blue Lagoon before returning home.
