With over a decade of experience in hospitality and travel, Alan’s journey began at the University of New Orleans, where he earned a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Administration in 2015. From there, his career took off in the heart of New Orleans, where he honed his craft in the world of high-end hospitality. Alan started at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans as a Housekeeping Supervisor before moving to the Omni Riverfront Hotel as a Concierge. It was here that Alan truly excelled, anticipating guests’ needs, designing bespoke experiences, and crafting seamless itineraries.

Alan’s exceptional service didn’t go unnoticed—he was named an Omni Service Champion from 2016 to 2020. In 2018, he made history as the first Certified Hotel Concierge accredited by the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) in both New Orleans and Louisiana, further solidifying his reputation as an expert in guest experience and luxury travel.

In 2020, the global pandemic reshaped industries, and like many in hospitality, Alan found himself at a crossroads. It was during this time of reflection that he realized his true calling: travel planning. What started as organizing vacations for friends and family blossomed into a full-fledged career. After a series of beautifully planned travel experiences for his own wedding in 2023, Alan knew he was ready to combine his love of travel with his deep knowledge of the concierge world.

In 2024, Alan joined Blue Shore Vacations as an independent contractor, and soon after, he founded Weiss Luxury Travel, LLC. Today, Alan is a Recognized Travel Advisor (RTA) accredited by CCRA TRUE, a proud member of the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA), and an active participant in the International LGBTQIA+ Travel Association (IGLTA). He is committed to ensuring that every client’s journey is safe, welcoming, and meticulously tailored to their individual needs and desires.
